There is border effacement of the ventral margin of the diaphragm, and the intestinal loops superimposed on the cardiac silhouette are confluent with the abdomen. The pulmonary vasculature and the visible pulmonary parenchyma are normal. Within the viewable abdomen, there is a loss of peritoneal serosal detail and the stomach contains heterogeneous soft tissue opaque and gas material.
