There is a single full term fetus visible in the ventral abdomen. The skull appears larger than the pelvic inlet, however a ventrodorsal projection would be more accurate for this determination. There is a suture in the skull without obvious overlap, and no gas is visible in the fetal tissues. The liver appears small, and the remainder of the abdominal organs are normal.
Dystocia with fetal size mismatch. No evidence of fetal death.
Case Discussion
The fetus was delivered alive via cesarian section.
