Images, be they part of cases, illustrations, photographs, tables, flow-charts, etc, should all be uploaded via the "Add case" page.

Outsourced images
Copyright issues are as always extremely important and under no circumstances should images or text which are copyrighted be included in any part of Vetlucent. This is strictly against our terms of use. Should you become aware of any such content please report it directly to license@vetlucent.com.
Many sources of images may be used in Vetlucent (see useful online resources).
When such an image is uploaded, it is best to upload it via the "Add case". The license information should follow the description of what the image shows in the "Findings" section.
In the description in "Findings" the following template should be used:
Description of the image:
Author: name of author
Original file: https://commons.wikimedia.org/...
Modifications: what if anything you did to the image. Note not all licenses allow you to modify images.
License: cut and paste the license, for example
"Permission is granted to copy, distribute and/or modify this document under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 or any later version published by the Free Software Foundation; with no Invariant Sections, no Front-Cover Texts, and no Back-Cover Texts. A copy of the license is included in the section entitled "GNU Free Documentation License".

If you believe your copyright has been infringed please write to license@vetlucent.com giving details of why you believe this is so.
Images you have created
If you create an image for the site or upload an image of which you own the licensing rights, please use the template above.
If you are happy to license the image as CC-NA-SA-BY then all you need to say is:
Author: your name
You can also tag the image with "illustration by your name" which will help you keep track of them (e.g. illustration by Allison Zwingenberger).
Images generated using AI tools
You may also generate images using AI tools, e.g. DALL-E, MidJourney. In such instances, include some information on the source in the case discussion section. For example:
"Image generated with Midjourney.com by Allison Zwingenberger."
