Copyright and content integrity

Last revised by Mike French on 3 Jun 2025

At Vetlucent, we rely on the trust and professionalism of our contributors to keep this platform open, collaborative, and legally sound. It is absolutely essential that no copyrighted material is uploaded to the site. This includes images, text, quiz questions, or any other content.

We ask all contributors to use only original material or content they have the clear legal right to share. When in doubt, leave it out or ask us before uploading.

  • Uploading copyrighted content without permission may violate copyright law and expose you and Vetlucent to legal risk.

  • Beyond the legal consequences, plagiarism undermines academic integrity, which is taken seriously by educational institutions, licensing boards, and employers.

  • Vetlucent is a shared resource. Maintaining its credibility depends on every contributor doing the right thing.

  • Any uploaded material found to be copied without permission will be removed immediately

  • Users responsible may be warned, suspended, or banned at the discretion of the editorial team

  • We may also report repeat or egregious violations to relevant professional bodies if necessary

If you see content on Vetlucent that you believe may breach copyright—or if you’re unsure whether something is safe to upload—please contact us at general@vetlucent.com. We’ll review it promptly.

Thank you for helping us maintain a collaborative, respectful, and legally sound learning environment.
