Tracking metrics for continuing education (CE)

Metrics Recorded: Your CE statistics reflect the quantity of cases and articles reviewed, along with the duration of engagement. For accurate tracking, interaction with the content is required, ensuring it remains active. Inactivity, such as leaving an article open without attendance for an extended period (e.g., 24 hours), will not be recorded.

Mode of timing
  • Articles: Timing occurs exclusively in view mode.

  • Cases: Timing encompasses both standard and presentation modes, including integration within playlists and quiz formats.

Exclusions from tracking

Activities outside the scope of tracking include, but are not limited to:

  • Case edits

  • Article edits

  • Edit moderation

  • Search operations

  • Course video viewership (separate certification process)

  • Engagement in learning pathways

Certificate

If you are a supporter then you can also download a certificate (PDF) of the time spent on the site for any defined date range, and not just the last two calendar months.

Limitations: Documenting the time dedicated to each case and article presents complexities. Our goal is to maintain an accurate and fair record of the active time invested in content consumption. However, external factors such as firewall configurations, network constraints, and browser settings may affect tracking accuracy. While we cannot rectify these issues, we recommend utilizing a contemporary browser that is regularly updated for optimal performance.
